At registration (or sooner) you will be informed of substitutions, and show the rowers ARA card. These screens enable you to track the substitution and check that the crew has not become over pointed.
You are probably using Registration > ARA registration. (select crew, or tick all, then FILTER) show
Then note that the crew names are underlined as active links. Click on a crew to display the crew details screen.
You can also reach this screen via Display > Crew Facts
Note how all crew members are listed, plus their points. Also a points total for the boat.
Select the crew member not rowing.
Enter details about the substitute (ARA number and points)
press CHANGE CREW
The substitution will be made, and the revised points total displayed.
Note: There is no validation of the total - you have to check that the limit for the class is not exceeded.
It is on this same screen that you can add narrative text about the crew - any notes for administration (eg owes £10), notes for the commentators (GB Trialist), or notes for personal gain (x owes me a large G&T)
